Jennings introduced the successful "Chief" line (below) in 1935 that would last for 3 decades. The ad (right) shows the new modern cased 1934 Caille DOUGH-BOY Two years before they had developed a multiple coin escalator .

 Mills first introduced the beautifully painted WAR EAGLE and the F.O.K in 1931. This new Silent Line induced competitors to also build bright new models. Probably the most striking was the Watling ROL-A- TOP introduced in 1935.

In the ad on the right Tom Watling, the founder of the Watling Company, proudly points to their new creation.Mills JUNIOR VENDOR Forerunner of the popular Q.T., the small slots were popular during the Depression years.
