Ed Fey Trade Stimulators

Ed Fey originally worked in his father's slot machine business. Around 1920 as a sideline he placed some amusement machines at San Francisco's oceanside amusement park. He remained there operating, manufacturing and inventing until the end of 1958

 1934 FAIR-N-SQUARE
Advertised in Billboard Magazine, these motor driven trade stimulators came in two models. The FAIR-N-SQUARE was a 26 game with dice enabling the player to win 10 to 100 points.. THE CIGARETTE SALESMAN used a spinner arrow and if the player preselected one of four brands he was awarded a pack of cigarettes.

FINGER STRIKER
It was patterned after the popular carnival game in which a person would use a mallet to measure his strength. On this small counter game the player would use a finger to shoot the inserted penny. If the coin struck the bell the machine would return the penny.
