When the law passed by Congress as a means of support for the struggling Indian reservations few realized the impact it would have on the slot machine industry. The Indians casinos started slowly and small in size, like this casino on the right, in the mid-1990s. Today, they can be found throughout t the nation and they have mushroomed to become some of the biggest. Foxwoods, located in Connecticut , the world's largest, has more than 6,000 slots. |
