In 1964 the ceiling was raised to make room for the
magnificent Brunswick "Del Monte"
back bar. It was originally in the Owl Bar in downtown Reno at
the turn-of-the- century. The the two large National brass cash
registers rang up sales at the Liberty Belle from opening in
1958 until closing in 1958. The sign above the center mirror
of the bar alerted the female patronage.
"LADIES KINDLY DO YOUR SOLICITING
DISCREETLY."
