Fey was the first to convert slots to dollar play. In the early 1900's he revamped a DEWEY floor machine and then in 1929 he built the SILVER DOLLAR, the first 3-reel dollar slot. In the 1920s he introduced a dollar 36-Game. On the latter slot machine, a dollar, a half and two quarters (a $2 bet) could be wagered on a single roll of the dice. The player could win up to $400, an amazing amount of money for the 1920's. | |
